Chapter 12: Pizza and a movie.

Coming out of the bathroom she walked across to the table where Tico, Hugh and David had joined Jon and Richie.
Jon watched as she approched the table, from the instant she had appeared again he couldn't take his eyes off her.
And she definately felt their presence on her...

'Hey guys, erm Jon can i ask a favour?' Jon stood up offering his seat 'yeah sure, shoot'. 'Well canapes aren't all that filling...' she said gratefully accepting his chair, 'Oh god, yeah. I'm sorry you must be starving, how about we go back upstairs and we can call room service, they'll whip up anything you want.' She smiled and nodded 'thanks Jon that would be great, that vodka has gone straight to my head.' She stood up readying herself to leave, 'You're coming back down right?' Richie started,'I'm not sure i'm feeling a little tired, but i want to thank you fellas for tonight it's really taken my mind off things....or lack of things anyway'.

With that they all said their goodnights and Jon took her back to the penthouse, leaving the rest of the band to schmooze and booze.

Wow that's a relief she thought as she removed the gorgeous but painfull shoes. 'So what do you fancy?' Jon shouted from the next room. 'You with cream on top' she said to herself but out-loud. 'Sorry i missed that' Jon said as he walked back into the room. he had changed into joggers and a scruffy T-shirt, it did nothing to dampen his sexiness. 'I'd just like a pizza and to mooch around, watch a film or something?' 'Sounds pretty damn good to me' Jon replied as he sat down next to her. Suddenly she felt a bit tense, sitting up straight feeling a little self concious...'Hey i know what i forgot' he said standing up to leave the room again. And relax she thought as she slouched back into the comfy sofa. 'You can put these on if you want' he passed her an American football shirt approximately 10 times too big and some shorts. 'Sorry i don't really have anything else and i don't reckon you want to be spilling pizza topping all down that dress.' She thanked him and went to change leaving Jon on the phone to Dominoes.

'That's better' she said returning from the other bedroom. She had put the clothes Jon had given her on and had scraped her long hair into a ponytail. 'So what pizza did you order?'

Jon cocked his head to the side to watch as she came back in the room, Jesus even swamped by a massive Giants jersey she is sexy as hell. 'Erm well after the wine thing i thought i'd cover all the bases....so to speak.' She didn't seem to get his joke, either that or she was too polite to say how bad it was. Lame Jon, really lame he told himself. 'On the way we have Pepperoni, Hawaiian and incase all else fails Margherita.'
She settled her self down on the other side of the sofa, 'mmm sounds great, i could eat a horse right now!' she said with a laugh.
Jon picked up the remote and started flicking through the channels while they waited for the pizza

Ten slightly awkward minutes of silence later there was a knock at the door. Jon rose and walked to the door to fetch the pizzas from the concierge.
'Right let's dig in' he said. And they settled down on the sofa to eat and watch The Shining, the late night movie just starting.
'This is good i think you'll like it' Jon said grabbing a slice of pepperoni, 'Famous last words Jon' She said with a smile, 'Remember the wine?' Opting for the hawaiian she opened the box and helped herself to a slice. Jon laughed out loud. She loved the way he laughed, it was so genuine, his head tipped back and he got the cutest dimple in his cheek.

Two minutes later Jon was up again 'Soda?' he asked walking to the mini bar. 'You don't sit still for five minutes do you?' she looked at him quizzically. 'A right little fidget!' He shut the mini bar door and walked back towards her with that mega watt smile of his. 'That's me, always on the go....' More like i just can't settle when i am around you he thought, 'and hey! Less of the little!'
